What data

Your email address (to sign in), the receipts you upload and the details read from them (date, amount, merchant, category, note).

Where reading happens

Receipts are read on your device (text recognition in the browser). Only then are the image and the details stored.

Where data is stored

With Cloudflare, in EU data centres (database and file storage with EU jurisdiction). Encrypted in transit and at rest.

AI reading (optional)

Only if you turn it on in settings and click “Read with AI” on a receipt is that one image sent to Anthropic PBC (USA) to be read. Anthropic does not use API data to train models.

No tracking

No ads, no analytics cookies, no third-party scripts. Only a technically necessary sign-in cookie.

Retention and deletion

Your receipts are kept until you delete them. In settings you can delete your account with all receipts and files immediately. The legal duty to keep business records (10 years) is yours.
